Iaquinto, Pamela Marie of Mt. Morris, died Saturday, September 1, 2018, at U of M Hospital-Ann Arbor. Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Rossell Funeral Home. Deacon Jim Brown will officiate. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home until the time of the service at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Krapohl Senior Center in Mt. Morris Township.
Pamela was born in Flint, Michigan on October 16, 1948, the daughter of Kenneth and Betty (Miller) Heit. She married Ronald Iaquinto on May 30, 1973, in Las Vegas. She loved being a part of a big Italian family and carrying on many family traditions. Pamela retired after many years as a nurse. She also taught Medical Assistance at Mott Adult Education. She was a member of the Krapohl Senior Center where she served as Secretary on the board. Pamela loved animals, spending time in nature, including fishing. She enjoyed airplanes, sewing, teaching yoga and going to casinos. Her love of travel took her around the country and overseas including France and Australia. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her seven grandchildren.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald; children, Richard Heit, Carmen and husband Dennis Horkey of Flushing, Marcy and husband Adam Williams of Melbourne, Australia; grandchildren, Jacob, Gavin, and Henry Horkey, Georgia and Isla Williams, Grace and Sullivan Cox; three brothers, Michael, Kenneth, and Ronald; three sisters, Kathy, Karen, and Maryanna; step-mother, Monique Heit of France; step-brother, Thierry and wife Florence Berlemont of France; mother-in-law, Louise Iaquinto; brother-in-law, Don and wife Tammy Iaquinto; and sister-in-law, Sharon and husband Joe Ledger. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Grace Horkey. |
