JONES, Patricia “Pat” – of Clio, formerly of Birch Run and Montrose, age 81, died Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc. Funeral service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Sue Trinklein officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 4PM until 8PM and on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Clio Eagles or plant a tree in honor of Pat.
Pat was born on March 14, 1944, in Saginaw, to the late Samuel and Ida Sparks. She graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1962 and was a proud stay-at-home mother for much of her life. She was a member of the Clio Eagles, Birch Run Moose Lodge, and during her younger years she attended Christ Lutheran Church in Birch Run. Pat was a spunky, fun-loving woman who enjoyed music, dancing, bowling, going to the casino and on road trips – often getting lost every time. She was the life of every party and a loving grandma to everyone. Patricia will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Pat is forever remembered by: Sons: Allen (Charlene) Jones, Jr. and Keith Jones; Grandchildren: Allison (Greg) Jones, Heather (Brandon) Jones, Katie (Nate) Clapp, Timmy Perry, Matt Perry, Meghan Jones and family, Heather Kusky and family, Tom (Stephanie) and family, Jason Kusky and family, and Joshua Kusky; Great Grandchildren: Emma, Ethan, Lukas, Mya, and Landyn; Niece and Nephew: Jimmy Sparks and Sandy Garfield; Beloved Companion, Cricket; Many extended family members and wonderful friends. Pat was preceded in death by: Son, David Wayne Jones; Parents, Samuel and Ida; Sister, Jacqueline Cooper; Brothers: Andy and Boots; Best Friends: Donna and Gail. |
