CLARKE, Darla S. - Of Lennon, age 69, died Thursday, July 30, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, MI.
Visitation 11am-2pm and 4-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the mass and burial will take place at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Brain & Behavior Foundation for Schizophrenia.
Darla was born in Durand, Michigan on April 5, 1951, the daughter of Warren and Evelyn (Jackson) Clarke. She attended Flushing High School. Darla loved to sew, embroidery and crochet, especially for her children and grandchildren's clothes and Halloween costumes. She was an avid reader and was particularly fond of mysteries and romance novels. Darla also enjoyed spending her time baking, planting flowers and taking care of her tomatoes in the garden. Family was always the most important to Darla. Darla worked at GLC Trophies with her family, NuVision, and retired from King Par.
Surviving are children, Michael (Keri) Webber,
Christine (Brian) Turner, Brian Webber, Thomas Webber and Robert Webber;
6 grandchildren;
1 great-grandchild;
mother, Evelyn Clarke;
3 sisters, Debra Bonter, Diane Domick and Denise Summers;
several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Warren Clarke; 3 siblings, Thomas Allen, Tara Sue and Tona Lynne and her grandparents.
