WRIGHT, Donna Mae - age 95, of Linden, died Tuesday, April 30. 2019. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Loose Senior Center or Hope Lutheran Church of Linden. Donna was born September 21, 1923 in Detroit, the daughter of Hans O. and Hazel Mae (Tripp) Angell and was a graduate of Cooley High School. Donna married George H. Wright on September 6, 1942 and he preceded her in death on February 29, 1972. She was a cashier at various grocery stores in the Detroit area and a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union. Donna was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and the Loose Senior Center where she was an active volunteer for the lunch and tax programs. She enjoyed cross stitch, quilting and crocheting. She donated many blankets to veterans and hats to premature babies. Surviving are: two sons, George "Max" Wright of New York and Terry (Sharon) Wright of Linden; daughter-in-law, Donna Wright; eight grandchildren, Daisy (Peter) Livingston, Ben (Rian) Wright, Dennis (Erica) Wright II, Lisa (John) Hodges, Tyson (Shannon) Wright, Luke Wright, Andrew Wright (Jamie Bunton), Angela Wright (Jeffrey Cole); 13 great-grandchildren.
