E. Rachel Decker, 90, of Aledo died Friday March 18, 2011 at the Lutheran Home in Muscatine, Iowa. Services are 2:30 PM Sunday at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Visitation is from 1:00 PM until time of services Sunday at Fippingers. Burial will be Monday morning in Aledo cemetery. Memorials may be left to the Joy Baptist Church. She was born December 1, 1920 in Little York, IL to Robert and Florence Waterman Trial. She graduated from Alexis High School and married Charles E. Decker January 24, 1942 in Alexis. He died December 20, 2000.
Rachel was a homemaker, was employed at the Times Record Company in Aledo for many years and was a member of the Joy Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Joyce Michael of Joy, 2 sons , Rick (Peggy) Decker of Muscatine, IA, Ron (Theresa) Decker of Viola, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law Ronald, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
