BALLARD, William Vernon- Age 80, of Linden, passed away September 30, 2023. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to American Heart Association. William was born July 29, 1943 in Highland, the son of Erwin and Edna (White) Ballard. He retired from the City of Fenton. William loved Country music. He also enjoyed repairing and selling lawn mowers. He is survived by his son, Richard; brothers, Robert and Clarence; sister, Leona Conn.
