SWEDORSKE, Gregory Francis – of Swartz Creek, formerly of Flint, age 92, died Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at The Landings of Genesee Valley.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church or The Landings of Genesee Valley.
Gregory was born in Flint, Michigan on September 25, 1927, the son of the late Alvin and Cecelia (Stefanski) Swedorske.
On September 2, 1950 he married Helen Backa, who passed in 2017.
He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
He loved gardening and liked baseball, especially the Tigers.
Surviving are children, Patricia Smith, Gregory Swedorske Jr.,
Susan (Gregory) Pobocik, Mark (Lucy) Swedorske, Mary (Dan) Shinsky,
Mike (Jan) Swedorske and Joe (Jenny) Swedorske;
11 grandchildren;
8 great-grandchildren with one more on the way;
and brother, Gene Swedorske.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen and son-in-law, Gary Smith.
