Ray Edward Doyle
Age 78 of Owosso, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, surrounded by his devoted family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Michael O'Brien officiating. Following the Mass, military honors will be rendered in recognition of Ray's service. The family invites friends to visit at Nelson-House on Monday from [insert time] to [insert time], with a rosary to be prayed at 7 PM.
Ray was born on June 15, 1947, in St. Johns, to Edward and Edna (Unterbrink) Doyle.
He was a proud graduate of Ovid High School, class of 1965. Shortly after graduation, Ray served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968, a testament to his courage and dedication.
A cherished member of the Eagles and the American Legion, Ray enjoyed a variety of pastimes, including golfing, camping, and going on motorcycle adventures with his beloved wife, Nancy. Nothing brought him more joy than the time spent with his family, whom he adored deeply.
On June 10, 1972, Ray married Nancy Lehman in Laingsburg. Together, they built a life filled with over 53 years of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Ray was a dedicated employee of Chrest Supply Co., where he proudly served for more than 42 years. Prior to his time at Chrest, he worked for General Motors, and following his retirement, he worked at Young Oldsmobile in Owosso.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Nancy Doyle; children, Teresa Pierce and Eric (Jennifer) Doyle; beloved grandchildren, Cory, Lindsay, Landon, Sidney, and Vivian; and three great-grandchildren, along with many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Ray was predeceased by his parents, as well as his siblings Diane Demerly, John Doyle, and Joe Doyle.
In honor of Ray's memory, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Cancer Society or St. Paul Catholic Church.
