BROW, Dougal Raymond – of Davison, MI, age 89, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026 in Naples, Florida. A Funeral Service, with Military Honors, will be held 12 noon on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Pete Scribner officiating. Private interment in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 3-7 PM Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Allen Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family who will donate to the facilities that helped Dougal maintain an active and fulfilled life.
Dougal was born in Flint, MI on October 31, 1936, son of the late Dennis and Bessie (Campbell) Brow. He married Kay Cullin on June 6, 1959 in Belleville, MI. Dougal was a pipefitter for AC Spark plug for 42 years, serving as a committee man. He loved spending time with his family and enjoying all of his grandkids and great grandkids. Dougal never missed any sporting events for his grandkids. He was an avid antique car enthusiast and loved going to Nascar races. Dougal loved watching sports especially his Detroit Red Wings and Tigers. He loved spending time in the outdoors with his family and friends, this included camping, hunting, and fishing. Dougal was a long-time member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. He was well known for sharing his stories and Dougal, “never let the facts get in the way of a good story.”
Dougal is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Kay Brow; 2 children, Kimberly (Mike) Ragsdale and Kraig (Danielle) Brow; 4 grandchildren, Adam (Erica) Ragsdale, Aubrey (Jake Schloegl) Ragsdale, Kyle Brow and Kolbie (Ryan) Storm; 4 great grandchildren, John, Cora and Henry Ragsdale, and Finn, Avery and Pearson Schloegl; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Bessie Brow.
