BARBER Vanessa Gail - Age 71, passed away peacefully at home on January 11, 2024. Vanessa was born in Manila, Arkansas. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church since her marriage to Michael Barber in December 1971. Vanessa loved her grandchildren and one of her favorite things was planting her garden each year. Vanessa will be deeply missed and is survived by her husband, Michael, her children Jennifer (Andy) Bhagat, Michele (Andy) Guminski and Andy (Denise) Barber; sisters; Carol (Terry) Anderson, Patricia Williams and Sue Davis; grandchildren, Gabriel Guminski, Mollie Barber, Isabel Bhagat, Brady Bhagat, Nikolas Guminski and Jack Barber; many other family members and good friends. In accordance with Vanessa's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date with burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Great Lakes National Cemetery for the purchase of new gravesite flags. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
