BARYLSKI, Jerome “Jerry” Sr. - Of Davison, age 72, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 23, 2014.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Monday, July 28, 2014 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6340 Roberta Street, Burton.

Cremation will take place following the service.

Visitation 5-8pm Saturday and 2-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Mi. A Rosary will be prayed 7:30pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Jerry will be at the church 10am Monday until the time of the service.

Jerome was born in Detroit, MI on May 14, 1942, the son of Leonard and Martha Barylski. Jerry was a Veteran of the United States Army. On October 6, 1962, he married Adeline (Contreras) in Detroit. He retired from General Motors. Jerry was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church and belonged to the Men’s Club and Hungarian Club at Blessed Sacrament Church. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus.

Surviving his wife of 52 years, Adeline;

children, Lori (Steve) Baker, Tricia (Dion) Rasey, Jerry Barylski Jr., Jackie (Juan Vargas) Barylski, Carrie (Paul) Gardella;

grandchildren, Eric Draper, Christina Barylski, Kiersten Gardella, Kelsiana Gardella, Jerry Barylski III, Kal Baker, Jack Weidenhammer, Grayson Gardella, Nicholas Weidenhammer, Daniel Schmidt, and Steven Schmidt.
