QUADERER, James – Of Burton, age 76, died Friday, July 22, 2016 at his residence.
Visitation 12-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road and 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 until the time of the service at 1 p.m., Father Robert Byrne officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
James was born on December 29, 1939 in Maple Grove Township, Michigan, the son of the late Louis and Olive (Indlekofer) Quaderer.
Jim married Patricia Sharber on May 14, 1982 in Grand Blanc.
He graduated from St. Michael Catholic High School Class of 1959.
Jim enjoyed watching the Tigers, took pride in his rose bushes and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Quaderer started his career working at Fisher I and retired from General Motors Grand Blanc Plant in January, 1992, after 30 years of service and was a member of UAW Local #1292.
Surviving are wife, Patricia;
two daughters, Shannon and husband Michael Rhoades of Burton,
Deborah and husband Bryant Lawrence of Flint Township;
five grandchildren, Ashley, Judy, Devon, Laiken and Logan;
five great-grandchildren, Kamren, Serenity, RayMond, Desiree and Bennett;
siblings, Rita Trepkowski, Delores and Floyd Maday, Eloise and Robert Anderson, Louis and Nancy Quaderer, Mary Ellen and Edward Symons, Jr., Thomas and Sue Quaderer;
brothers-in-law, Rolan and Alice Birchmeier and Bernard Maday;
sister-in-law, Sally Quaderer;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Louis and Olive Quaderer;
siblings, Joan Birchmeier, Evelyn Maday, Helena Maday, Christina Littlejohn and Charles Quaderer; brothers-in-law, Leonard Trepkowski and Edward Maday.
