AMEY, Catherine “Jeanne” – of Otisville, age 82, passed away July 25, 2014 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Pastor Tom Forgo officiating. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM-3 PM and 5-8 PM on Tuesday and 11 AM until the time of service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Salvation Army.
Jeanne was born on January 20, 1932 in Chesaning, MI, daughter of the late Albert and Olive (Princinsky). She married Arnold Amey on September 10, 1954 and they enjoyed 58 years of marriage. Arnold preceded her in death on December 27, 2012. Jeanne worked at Fairway Discount in Otisville retiring at the age of 80.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Jeffery Amey, Timothy (Stacy) Amey, Diane (Mark) Lambert, Darren Amey and Keith Amey; grandchildren, Zachary, Brandon, Naomi, Emily, Amanda, Alyson, Michael, Mike and Cassandra; great-granddaughter, Clairah; brother, Charles Leis and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dale and John Leis; sister, Sandra Krajniak. The family would like to give a special thank you to Jeanne’s angel, Jody.
