Leta M. Beard, age 77, of Clio, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025. Leta will be laid to rest at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Honoring Leta’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no service will be held for the public. Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. She was born on December 12, 1947, in Flint, Michigan to the late Carl & Arlene (Gage) Beard. She graduated from Beecher High School. She had a successful career as a welder at General Motors, retiring in 2003. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, spending time with her children, grandchildren and fur babies.
Leta was a devoted mother and is survived by her 3 children, Victoria (Dale) Flanagin, George IV (Joan) Lahar and Raishelle Montpas; a proud grandmother to six grandchildren along with four great grandchildren. She is also leaves behind a sisters, Darlene Beard & Claudia Offill and brother, James Beard. |
