COUVILLON, Carole R. – of Lapeer, MI, formerly of Davison, MI, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, after a brief battle with glioblastoma. Cremation has taken place. A Private Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 and will be recorded. A link to the recording will be available on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 on the funeral home’s website. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to your local food pantry in Carole’s name.
Carole was born in Flint, MI on April 9, 1966, daughter of the late Paul and Patricia (Thurau) Couvillon. She attended Davison Schools, graduating in 1984.
Carole enjoyed the simple life in her dream home on the lake, that usually included a cup of coffee, great food and drinks, and a bonfire at sunset with family and friends. She loved to cook and travel, especially if her travels included a body of water and people she loved.
Carole will be greatly missed by her daughter, Micaela Henke; Micaela's fiance, Nathan Sprague; her sister, Denise (Howard) Hoover of Westerville, OH; 2 brothers, Alan (Colleen) Couvillon of Harvey, LA and Karl Couvillon of Powell, OH; her nieces and nephews, Brianne (Jeff) Forrest, Katrina Hoover, Nathan Hoover and Meara Couvillon; great-niece, Mackenzie Forrest; aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Patricia Couvillon and her sister, Annette Couvillon.
