LINDSLEY, Wilma “Billie” - Of Flushing, age 92, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at her residence.
Per Billie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
In memory of Billie, contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries or the Genesee County Humane Society.
Billie was born in Clio, Michigan on December 13, 1933, the daughter of the late William and Lucia Storey. Billie graduated from St. Michael Catholic High School. She married Ortal Lindsley on September 24, 1955. Billie loved going shopping but primarily her greatest joy was feeding and spending time with her family. Billie and her husband, Ortal owned and operated Lindsley Hardware and Rental in Flushing for many years.
Surviving are daughters, Karen Barker of Tennessee and Elaine (Steven) Taylor of Flint;
Grandchildren, David Barker of Tennessee, Melissa Mikkelsen of Florida, Cory (Stacey) Weber of Flushing, Robert Barker of Tennessee and Julie (John Ellsworth) Hugunin of Flint;
Great-grandchildren, Jacob, Logan, Oliver and Emmett;
And several nieces and nephews;
Dear friends, Yung Sturt, Valerie Gordon and Roseanna Harmon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ortal and son-in-law, Joe Barker and her siblings.
