Mark was born in White Pine, Michigan on October 1, 1963, the son of David Bednar and Cecilia (Arthur) Randall. On October 17, 1992, Mark married the love of his life, Donna Monville in Bay City. Mark graduated from Bangor John Glenn High School in Bay City and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University in 1986. If you knew Mark, you knew his love and dedication to his Alma-Mater, Michigan State, especially their sport teams. He was passionate about all sports and used that passion to make a difference in his community by being a major part in starting and running football and baseball youth programs. He played and coached several sports over his lifetime. He coached for over 25 years, umpired, announced, maintained the fields, and spent countless hours watching and analyzing various games. You could often find him listening to one of his over 700 CDs from all genres; he was an avid music lover. He and Donna enjoyed their yearly trips to Traverse City visiting the wineries and amazing fall colors. Most of all, he spent all the time he could with his family and his grandchildren.
