Glenna Rae Miller, age 70, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.
A Memorial Service will be held at the St. Johns Seventh-day Adventist Church 1400 S. Oakland Street, St. Johns, MI, on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 12:00 P.M.
Glenna was born in Sisseton, South Dakota on June 27, 1955, the daughter of Earl Ellsworth and Ruth Alice (Schultz) Dobberstein. She graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School with the Class of 1973. Glenna attended Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI.
Glenna's greatest accomplishment were her two sons, James and Chad who were with her during her last days. Her faith was a large part of her life and she was a devoted member of St. Johns Seventh-day Adventist Church for many years. Glenna faithfully volunteered her time for many of the activities held at the church.
Glenna is survived by her sons James Miller of Burton, MI and Chad (April) Miller of Traverse City, MI; sister Cindy (Joe) Miller of St. Johns, MI; grandchildren: Amber, Brianna and Raelyn; close friend Heidi Marek of St. Johns, MI; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Dale.
