CLARK, Bernice L. – of Birch Run, age 90, died Friday, May 1, 2020 at her residence with family by her side. Private family services will be held with a graveside committal on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Bernice was born April 20, 1930 in Montrose, Michigan to the late Joseph and Esther (Larkin) Scanlon. She graduated from Montrose High School in 1948. Bernice married Robert N. Clark on August 21, 1955. He preceded her in death June 21, 2003. Bernice was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the casino. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are: Son, Robert Joseph (Michelle) Clark; Daughter, Beth Elaine Shimmons (Mike O’Leary); 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren: Siblings: Irene, Doris, Dale, and Margie; Many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. Bernice was also preceded in death by: Brothers: Lawrence, and Maurice. Special thank you to Michelle who cared for her for the last 2 years with the utmost love and kindness.
