Age 67 of Chesaning passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at McGeehan Funeral Homes Martin Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm-7:00pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
Rex was born on January 5, 1955 to Rex and Elizabeth (Pelch) Kingsbury in Flint, Michigan. He Married Kathryn Vincke on October 10, 1998. They shared 23 years of marriage together.
During his life, Rex worked at Kastle Steele in Flint and was also a caregiver. He enjoyed playing cards, Traveling, watching movies, and attending estate sales.
Rex is survived by his wife, Kathryn; Son, Dennis; step-children, Cynthia (Claudio) Cabreja, Jon (Torrie Shack) Edwards, Brian (Audy) Edwards, Lorri Edwards, David (Nicole) Edwards, Chad (Kimmy Schaffer) Edwards; Grandchildren, Clarissa, Caiden, and Camilla Cabreja, Alexis (David) Holston, Jacob, Luke, Jalaena and Jonathan Edwards, Kyra and Diam Edwards; siblings, Danny (Ginger) Kingsbury, Tena (Mike) Bardoni, Kathy Thiel, Debbie (Mark) Vanluven; In-laws, Susan (Andrew) Wendling, Keith (Nancy) Vincke, Lynn Vincke, Kraig (Angela) Vincke, Karen Vincke, Kevin (Vickie) Vincke, Randall (Tami) Vincke, Kurt Vincke, Jeffrey (Lori) Vincke and Gregg Vincke; mother-in-law, Ilda Vincke; as well as many nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents, Father-in-law, Herman Vincke; Brother-in-laws, Harry Thiel and Frank Vincke and nephew, Troy Vincke.
