TRUHAN, Andrew P.- age 84, of Linden, passed away on October 5, 2026. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, October 9, 2026 at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Visitation will be 5:00PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, where a Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass Friday at Church. Memorial contributions in Andrew's memory would be appreciated to St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton.
Andrew was born December 9, 1941 in Flint, the son of Andrew and Elizabeth Truhan. He married Carol Sage in 2000. Andrew graduated from Sacred Heart High School and later from U of M. Flint, He proudly served in the National Guard. Andrew was employed as a Payroll Supervisor with GM for many years. After his retirement, He stayed busy working at The Home Depot for 10 years. In his spare time, He enjoyed golfing and was a die hard fan of UofM sports teams.His greatest love was his grand children, which he cherished dearly.
Andrew is survived by, his wife, Carol; children, Andrew (Penica) Truhan, Christopher Truhan, and step son, Gregory Sage; sisters-in-law, Nancy Androsky, and Jane Truhan; also 3 grandchildren, Sabrina (Joe) Jones, Gavin Sage, and James Sage; and new great grandchild, Bennett Andrew Jones.
Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Elizabeth Truhan; and his brother, Edwrd Truhan, and his son, Andrew T. Sage. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
