CLARE, Lloyd C. Jr. - Age 83, of Flint, died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Avalon Hospice. Private family services have taken place. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice or the charity of one's choice. Lloyd was born June 16, 1927 in Flint, the son of Lloyd C. and Elizabeth (Chechi) Clare. Mr. Clare was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired as a supervisor from Chevrolet Manufacturing. Mr. Clare was a member of Swartz Creek Lodge #458 F.&A.M. Surviving are: wife of 64 years, Donna; children Richard Clare and companion Barbara of Grand Blanc, Gail and husband Ronald Leavitt of California; Karen and husband Michael Lozon of Flushing; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Clare of Flint.
