STOCKTON, Marilyn Eloice. (Wright) - of Birch Run, age 83, died Friday, February 23, 2018, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Fellowship Baptist Church - 14046 N. Saginaw Rd. in Clio. Pastor Darrel Manning officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Friday from 1PM until 8PM and at the church on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Marilyn, memorial contributions may be made to The Chosen Ranch, or Effort Vision.

Marilyn was born March 9, 1934 in Flint, Michigan to the late Leroy and Leona (Ryder) Andrews they later moved to a small farm in Mt. Morris in 1937. She graduated from Beecher High School in 1952 and later attended Spring Arbor University. Marilyn learned the love of nursing from her mother, and earned her degree as an LPN from the Flint Practical Nurse School in Flint. She was employed with Flint Osteopathic Hospital for many years before retiring in 1993.

Marilyn married Jack D. Wright May 12, 1956 in Flint. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1984. She later married Laurel S. Stockton on June 10, 1989. He preceded her in death February 10, 2018. Marilyn and Laurel spent many happy years in Harrisville, and family and friends would visit them often. She loved to entertain and have ladies over for tea and couples for dinner parties.

Marilyn was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Clio, the Alpena After Five, and was the consulting coordinator for Friendship Bible Coffees for Northeastern Michigan for 10 years. Above all, Marilyn loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are: Son, John D. (Carlene) Wright; Daughter, Mary E. (David) Bukosky; Stepdaughter, Laura Jean (Mark) Condon; Stepsons: Steven S. Stockton, and Mark A. (Cindy) Stockton; 18 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; Sister, Carol (Wayne) Moss; Brothers: Ken (Sally) Andrews, and Donald (Eileen) Andrews; Special friends: Frances and Ken Wilkinson; Many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was also preceded in death by her sons: Paul Wright and Mark Wright; Granddaughter, Allison Bukosky; Grandson, Jeffery Wright, and brother, Duane Andrews.
