WILLIAMS, Gregory L. – of Clio, age 67, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Deacon Dave Pigott officiating. Final inurnment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Contributions may be made to Reverence Home Health and Hospice or a Hospice of one's choice.
Greg was born March 22, 1947 in Flint to the late Russell and Emily (Koziol) Williams. He lived in Clio the past 14 years coming from Mt. Morris. He was a barber for a few years before entering the Army. He served in the US Army from 1967 to 1969 in Korea. Greg married Patricia Urchike on June 20, 1992. Mr. Williams retired from AC in 1996 with 25 years seniority. He was a member of the UAW Local #651, American Legion Flint Post #64 and the Clio Country Club. He also enjoyed bowling.
Surviving are: wife, Patricia; son Russell of Clio; brother, Lawrence (Priscilla) Williams of Flushing; brothers-in-law, Robert (Patricia) Urchike of Chandler, AZ, William (Linda) Urchike of New Lothrop; nieces and nephews.
