KEHOE, Gloria Maria – Of Grand Blanc, age 96, died peacefully on
Sunday, April 26, 2020 at home, where she went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, whom she loved. She was originally from Mexico, formerly from Grand Blanc, Michigan.
Private service is being held.
She was united in matrimony to Donald J. Kehoe on November 12, 1955 in Mexico City.
Gloria retired from GM Truck & Bus in 1990.
Upon retirement Gloria stayed active, line dancing and clogging and was a fixture at Davison, Burton and Grand Blanc Senior Centers.
Also a member of Holy Family 55 and Over and the St. Joseph Guild.
Gloria also was a member of the Genesys Athletic Club, taking water aerobics and Taichi. Gloria spent her evenings painting watercolors and acrylic pictures. She loved painting birds.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kehoe; sisters, Otila Franco and Anna Maria Lecea.
Surviving family, brother, Oscar Gonzalez Zertuche, from Guadalajara, Mexico;
sister, Blanca Dora Narcio of Tennessee;
daughter, Gloria W. Tabor;
sons, Gerard and Edward Kehoe;
8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was loved and adored by her many nieces and nephews.
