KINGSBURY, Danny Leslie – of Birch Run, age 74, died Thursday, January 1, 2026 at his residence with his family by his side. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Danny was born May 15, 1951 in Flint, Michigan to the late Rex and Elizabeth (Pelch) Kingsbury. He grew up in Flint, Michigan and attended Flint Central High School. On May 17, 2000 he married Ginger Zuhlke in Caro, Michigan. Prior to his retirement in 2000, Danny worked for GM on the line with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Flint Eagles Aerie # 629, and the Moose Lodge # 2235 in Harrison, Michigan. Danny enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, and playing pool. In his younger years he was a Golden Gloves Boxer. Danny loved feeding and watching the birds. However, his greatest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are: Wife, Ginger Kingsbury; Children, Renae (Walter) Lonsway, Danny (Jaime) Kingsbury Jr., Deanna (Donald) Price, Teresa (Kevin) Beggs, Tracie Burger; Grandchildren, Brandon (Ashleigh) Lonsway, Jessica (Wyatt Nyswaner) Lonsway, Austin (Shelby Chant) Kingsbury, Logan (Kylee Devary) Kingsbury, Lexie Kingsbury, Dylan Price, Elizabeth Price, Jackson Price, Cassidy (Cam) Beggs, Nicole (Austin) McLaren, Andrew Burger; Great Grandchildren, Robert Lonsway, Savanna Kingsbury, Ella Burger; Sister, Kathy Thiel; several nieces and nephews.
