Pamela was born on January 31, 1960, in Flint, Michigan, to Ray and Frances (Stephens) Short. She graduated from Clio High School with the Class of 1978. Her love of learning inspired her to continue her education at Baker College, where she earned several bachelor's degrees. On July 9, 1983, Pam married Charles "Chuck" Howell and together they shared many happy years raising their daughter and creating a lifetime of memories. Pam dedicated 20 years of her career as a Quality Control Manager with Healthcare Plus. She enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and Precious Moments, playing bingo, shopping, and taking trips to the casino. She also had a passion for her classic Volkswagen Beetle and took great pride in restoring it herself. Pam also had a knack for wrapping gifts with such care that opening them often became an adventure all its own. She was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her family. Her greatest treasure was her granddaughter, Peyton, who was truly the love of her life.
