Morgan, Lawrence D. (Larry) - Age 82, of Burton, died June 24, 2025. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Monday, June 30, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Pastor Holly Rottiers-Blake officiating. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes.Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Saturday, June 28 and 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Sunday, June 29 and also 1 PM Monday, June 30 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Lawrence was born May 13, 1943 in Flint, the son of Floyd Dewey and Florence Elizabeth (Shepard) Morgan. He graduated from Durand High School in 1961and continued his education at Michigan State University for 2 years. Larry also had additional skilled trade education. He married Barbara A. Howd in Flint on July 10, 1987. Larry worked for General Motors as a Die Welder for 36.5 years before retiring in 2000. He was a former member of Greater Harvest Church in Fenton. Larry was a member of County Line Antique Tractor Club and Mid Michigan Machinery Association of Clio. Larry owned 2 antique tractors, a 1951 SC Case and 1945 M-Farmall. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Morgan; children, Denise Robins, Steven (Margaret) Morgan, and Diane Stepp; step-children, Timothy (Pam) McLain, Laura (Daniel) Johnston, Deborah (Tim) Yankee, Paul McLain, and Christina Warren; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Joyce Mixer, Douglas (Pam) Morgan, Martha Broadworth; several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Dedra Hoffman; sisters, Muriel Hibbard, Louise Lawrence; brothers, Wayne Morgan and Arnold Morgan.
