Gerald Oscar Edwards of Flushing MI. passed on 7/27/20. Per his wishes no service will be held. Born to William and Hazel Edwards in Flint MI. on 1/15/1936. He resided in Flushing MI. for 84 years. He married the love of his life on 1/3/1957. He enjoyed spending time with his family and most of all his grandchildren. He owned and operated Jerry's Garage Doors for many years. He is survived by his wife Verna Lamay Edwards, one son Gerald Lee Edwards, and four daughters, Carrie (Dennis) Cook, Kelly (Kevin) Clary, Lori (Russ) Edwards, and Julie (Ray) Barker. He has nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren, one great great grandson. Two sisters and his beloved dog Presley, also his extended McDonalds family. He is preceded in death by his parents, son in law Dennis Cook, and three brothers. The family would like to thank the Va hospital, he was an Army Veteran. Also special thanks to his nurse John. |
