HUTCHINSON, Bruce Vincent – of Clio, age 72, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at McLaren Flint. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County or the Salvation Army.
Bruce was born November 20, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to the late Ceylon and Betsy (Erickson) Hutchinson. He grew up in Burton, Michigan and graduated from Bendle High School with the class of 1966. Bruce served his country in the US Army from 1968 to 1970. On April 8, 1979 he married Debra Hughes in Mt. Morris, Michigan and she preceded him in death on October 12, 2020. Prior to his retirement in 1998, Bruce worked for GM on the assembly line with 30 years of service. He enjoyed bowling and working in his yard.
Surviving are: Children, Kelly Hutchinson, Mike Romanack, Jenifer (Christopher) Witmer, Matthew (Kristen) Hutchinson; 11 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Steven (Joan) Hutchinson; Cousins, Ken Sjostrom, Jim Sjostrom. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Wife, Debra Hutchinson; Brothers, Kelly Hutchinson, Ralph Hutchinson, Mike Hutchinson.
