ELLIOTT, Jacqueline M. "Jackie" – Of Swartz Creek, age 94, died Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Regency of Grand Blanc.

A private service will be held.

Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.

Jacqueline was born in Lansing, MI on November 14, 1925, the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Kuhns) Lake and was a resident of the Flint and Swartz Creek most of her life. She married Raymond Elliott on June 28, 1947 in Flint and he preceded her in death on April 8, 2004. Jackie was a 1943 graduate of Flint Central High School and coordinated many of the class reunions. She graduated January 1947, from Grace Hospital School of Nursing in Detroit, where she earned her diploma as a Registered Nurse. She was employed by Women's Hospital 1947-1951 and McLaren Medical Center 1965-1985, retiring as Nurse Supervisor.

Jackie was a life member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Flint; and more recently of St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Swartz Creek. She was active with St. Paul Outreach, Crossover of Downtown Flint, former treasurer of Rankin Lioness Club, member and chairman of McLaren Retirees since 1985; member and former president of Loch Lomond Lassies Golf League, and Fenton Farms Golf League.

Jackie enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards and crocheting.

Surviving are 2 sons, Lawrence (Suzanne Smithson) of Flushing,
Randall and wife Jeanne of Burton;

granddaughters, Lisa (David) Ritz of Adrian, MI, Rae Ann Elliott of Wyoming, MI and Shannon Elliott (Jeremy Foether) of Clio, MI;

grandson, Zachery Elliott of Burton, MI;

great-grandsons, Carson and Cameron Ritz, Keegan Williams and Micah Elliott;

brother-in-law, Jack Patrick of Chelsea, MI;

nephews, Charles Lake of Indianapolis, IN, and Kevin (Monica) Patrick of Folsom, CA;

nieces, Tammy (Howard) Bush of Chelsea, MI and Julie )Patrick) Young of Chelsea, MI.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Ramon and Norman Lake and sister, Kathy Patrick.

We thank Regency of Grand Blanc for their excellent care over the last 28 months, Marrianne with McLaren Hospice for her care and compassion and Father Gene Geromel, St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church, Swartz Creek for his spiritual care, visits and guidance.
