NAGY, Donald S. - Of Burton, age 74, died Thursday, April 30, at University Hospitals in Ann Arbor.
Funeral service will be held 1:30 pm Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Mr. Gary E. Turner officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation 2-6pm Sunday and 12:30pm Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Donald was born in Flint on October 27, 1940. On October 1, 1960, he married Dolores Johns in Flint. Donald retired from GM Truck and Bus and was a member of UAW Local #598. He enjoyed fishing and camping at Reedsburg Dam and hunting. Donald also enjoyed his grandkids hockey and baseball games.
Surviving are wife, Dolores;
children, Susan and husband Scott Hynes of Burton, Sandra and husband Richard Staffne of Burton, Douglas and wife Marie Nagy of Flint;
grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, Aaron, Jessica, Jenelle, Matthew, Brenden, Anthony and Steven;
great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Brooklyn and Eli;
brother, Jerry Nagy of Flint.
He was preceded in death by parents, Stephen and Julia Nagy and sister, Jeanette Myers.
