Mary Glasstetter, age 85, of Grand Blanc, Michigan left her earthly body on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Genesee Care Center in Grand Blanc. She is now reunited with her beloved husband in heaven. Cremation has taken place. Burial and grave side service on Friday, December 29, 2017, 2:30 pm at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc, MI. Mary was born June 1, 1932, in Portageville, Missouri, the daughter of Lloyd and Inez Pearl (Baker) Burton. She and John J. Glasstetter were united in marriage on December 30, 1950 in Piggott, Arkansas. John preceded her in death on April 18, 2010. Mary enjoyed embroidery and reading. Her favorite passage from the Word of God was the 23rd Psalm. She adored her little black poodle, Blu. Left to cherish her memory, son John (Deborah) Glasstetter. Two grandsons Jeffrey (Darcy) Glasstetter and Joseph (Rachel) Glasstetter. Two great granddaughters Emily Glasstetter and Samantha Glasstetter. Sisters, Pat Pearce and Sharon (Jerry) Fredenburgh. Brother, Ron (Vicki) Burton. Many other wonderful nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 brothers Wayne Burton and Robert Burton. Special thanks to the great staff at Regency of Grand Blanc, Genesee Care Center and Heart to Heart Hospice. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to a charity of your choice.
