SPENCER (ROMINES), Elenore – Of Flint/Flushing, formerly of Russellville, Arkansas, age 92, died Friday, October 2, 2015 at Fostrian Manor.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Todd Regester officiating.
Entombment at Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to Fostrian Manor.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Elenore was born in Flint, Michigan on March 5, 1923, her parents were Amos and Gertrude (Terrien) Licquia.
She married Roy Gardner, Jr. in Flint, Michigan. She then married Charles Romines in Flint, Michigan, married for 32 years until his death in 1980.
She married George Harris and Eddie Spencer in Russellville, Arkansas.
Elenore worked at General Motors Parts and Service Division in Swartz Creek for 25 years, before retiring and was a member of UAW Local #659.
Elenore enjoyed her dog, Princess, which was a big part of her life. She also enjoyed swimming, camping and her family.
Charlie and Elenore had their summer home in East Tawas, Michigan. After their retirement they went to their home in Russellville, Arkansas.
She attended the Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Russellville and the Senior Citizen Center.
She was a member of the Masonic Lodge and The Ladies Eastern Star Auxiliary.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews;
step-grandchildren, Mike Romines, Jeff Romines, Donnie Romines and Anita Romines.
Elenore was preceded in death by her father, Amos Licquia; mother, Gertrude Terrien; six brothers and four sisters.
