GRONAU, Edwin E. "Bud" Jr. age 69 of Vassar, MI, passed away on Tuesday, April 09, 2019 with family at his side. He was born November 30, 1949 in Dearborn, MI. the son of the late Edwin E. Gronau Sr. and survived by his mother Evelyn E. Gronau of Gladwin, MI. and preceded in death by his wife Terry and daughter Stacy.
He was a lifetime mechanic even during the time serving his country in Vietnam. He retired from General Motors in 2009 as a Fork Truck driver, yet those that knew Bud deep down knew his ultimate passion was being with friends & family fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Sandra Gronau of Vassar, MI. Children, Scott Gronau of Flint, MI; Amie Gronau of Flint, MI. also Brothers & Sister, Gary (Cindi) Gronau of Flint, MI; Jeff (Donna) Gronau of Gladwin, MI; Glen (Terrie) Gronau of Montrose, MI; Tim (Robin) Gronau of Flushing, MI and Lori (Doug) Rex of Gladwin, MI. as well as grandchildren and great grandchild.
In accordance with Bud's wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held 11am Friday, April 19, 2019 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
