Conklin, Mrs. Ellen B. “Mama” age-77 passed away Thursday March 17, 2011 at Hurley Medical. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday March 26, 2011 from the United Missionary Baptist Church 6440 Clio Rd. Rev. W.C. Towner officiating, Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd. Holly Twp. Family and friends will assemble at the church 12noon Saturday for visitation. Mrs. Conklin now reposes in the chapel of the Serenity Funeral Chapel and may be viewed until 8pm. Mrs. Ellen B. Conklin was born September 16, 1933 in Memphis, Tennessee the daughter of Fred (Lucille King) Sr. She was employed at Chateau Gardens Nursing Care of Flint. She leaves to cherish her memory husband David Conklin 5 daughters Daisy Lee Austin of San Francisco Gay (Bruce) Sawyer, Paula, Mary and Charmaine Conklin 1 son David Conklin all of Flint, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
