WALTON, Troy A. - Age 72, of Burton, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at New Life Christian Fellowship, 2237 Reid Road, Grand Blanc. Rev. Tim Pike officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Absolute Home Health and Hospice, 9463 Holly Road, STE 104, Grand Blanc, MI 48439.
Troy was born July 28, 1949 in Malden, MO, the son of Theron and Ida (Langston) Walton. He was a 1967 graduate of Flint Central High School. He married Deborah Kay Sparkman April 24, 1969 in Flint. Troy retired from Holy Redeemer Catholic Church after 28 years of service. There wasn't anything Troy couldn't build or fix, he was the ultimate handyman. He also enjoyed making Metal Tin Men Lawn Ornaments.
Surviving are: his wife of 52 years, Deborah; Nephews, Michael, Nick, and Terry; special cousins, Debbie Langston Palmer and Cheryl Tenbush; his beloved fur babies, Cinnamon and Paco. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 4 siblings.
