Jeffrey A. Nichols, 25, of Garden City, KS, formerly of Alpha, Illinois, died Tuesday March 29, 2011 in Garden City. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate his life will be 10:30 AM Monday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Woodhull. Burial is in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is from 3-6 PM Sunday at Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Woodhull where a Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM. Memorials may be left to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or St. John’s Catholic Church.

He was born March 5, 1986 in Galesburg, Il to Richard and Carol Hills Nichols. He graduated from AlWood High School in 2004 and graduated from Hamilton Tech in Davenport, Iowa with an associates degree in Electronics.
He was employed as a Systems Engineer at Beef Products Inc. in Holcomb, KS.
Jeffrey was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and enjoyed snow boarding, golfing, videos and music.
Survivors include his mother, Carol Ann Nichols of Coal Valley, Il, his father, Richard Nichols of Cambridge, Il 2 sisters, Jennifer Keever of Alpha, Il , Kelly Nichols of Plano, TX, a brother Kevin Nichols of Woodhull and 9 nieces and nephews.
His grandparents preceded him in death.
