BRADY, Sandra – of Clio, age 88, died Monday, October 12, 2026, at Gross Assisted Living. A graveside service will be held at Thetford Township Cemetery on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 1:30PM. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Sunday from 10AM until 1PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Thetford Senior Center.
Sandra was born on September 1, 1938, in Flint, to the late Harold and Evelyn (Schmidt) Allen. She graduated from Clio High School and retired from the former FOH Hospital in Grand Blanc after over 30 years of employment. In 1957, she married her beloved husband, Harold Brady, and together they shared 42 years of marriage before his passing in 1999. Sandra was a member of the Thetford Senior Center and was active in Girl Scouts during her younger years. She enjoyed playing cards – especially euchre, going on senior trips, spending time at the family cabin in Houghton Lake, and cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events. Sandra loved going out to eat and being surrounded by family and friends. She was a spunky, fun-loving woman who never knew a stranger and had a way of making friends wherever she went. Sandra will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Absolute Hospice and the staff at Gross Assisted Living for their care of Sandra during her stay and in her final days.
Sandra is forever loved by: Children: Shelly (Thomas) Ayotte and Samuel (Laurie) Brady; Grandchildren: Sabrina (Chad) Blackney, Loren (Kristen) Ayotte, Megan Weldon, Emily (Adam) Orman, and Samuel “Seth” Brady; Great grandchildren: Colin Weldon, Tate Blackney, Ashton Blackney, and Quinn Ayotte; Nieces: Kristi (Chad) Bisballe and Cheri Euler. Sandra was preceded in death by: Husband, Harold Brady; Parents, Harold and Evelyn; Sister, Susan Euler. |
