RUSH, Anna M.– of Montrose, age 78, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Burial in Montrose Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 PM, Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and Saturday from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM. Contributions may be made to the family.
Anna was born in Hornell, NY, to the late Herbert and Florence (Hults) Hadley. She married Albert Rush on March 21, 1953. Anna retired in 2005, after working 18 years from Montrose Township where she was the deputy treasurer. She previously was employed at AC Spark Plug. Anna was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Montrose Eagles, Montrose Fire Department Auxiliary and was on the Montrose Election Board. She enjoyed painting, reading, crocheting, bowling, bird watching and spending time with her family.
Surviving are: husband, Albert; children, Peggy (Alan) Wilhelm of Montrose, Eric Rush of Montrose, Thomas Rush (Roxanne Losee) of Saginaw; grandchildren, Cassie Wilhelm, Corey (Jamie) Rush, Aaron (Brittany) Rush, Tia Rush (fiancé Terry), Janson Rush, Miranda Rush, Dakota Rush, Lisa Losee, Heather Losee, Austin Losee; great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Chelsea, Calvin, Alivia, Kara, Jacob, Lilly, Loyal, Christopher, Jaxen, Hanna, Craig, Ciana; brother, Robert (Maryann) Hadley of Saginaw; special friends, Phyllis & Don Reinhart, Marie & Dick Axtell, and their families; many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane (Bob) Morey. Special thank you to Bill Persails, Cheryl Cummings and Genesys Home Nurses for their care and support.
