REED, Jr., Charles "Chuck" - Age 73, of Burton, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. Pastor Glenn Tatterson officiating. Burial in Gracelawn Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 12-9 PM.
Chuck was born April 10, 1945 in Flint, the son of Charles and Elizabeth (LaPointe) Reed. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Genesee Recycling. He was a member of Flint Baptist Temple. Chuck was also a member of the V.F.W. Post 822 in Flint. He enjoyed bowling and tinkering on lawn mowers and bicycles. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Sparrow Hospital.
Surviving are: children, Darrin Shuck, Joannie Coulter, and Charles (Amanda Limon-Reed) Reed III; grandchildren, Robert Major, Amber Shuck, Leanne Shuck, Joshua Shuck, Kacey Jo Shuck, Nicholas Reed, Kimberly Coulter, and Eric Coulter; and 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Sam Merrill, Gertrude Gooding, Nellie (Tony) LaValley, Joe Orvis, Frances Falconer, Edna (Jim) Earl, Beth Chancellor, Nancy Carmean, George Ramey, and Patti Bovee; and several nieces and nephews,
