LAKE, Tammy L. (Riendeau) – of Clio, age 58, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Genesys of Grand Blanc. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 3PM Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Dan Shinabarger officiating. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service at 3PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Tammy was born September 4, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan to Martin R. and Doris M. (Gerow) Riendeau. She married Eddie E. Lake on August 27, 1977 in Flint. Tammy was employed with Paramount Potato Chip Company and Mitchells of Owosso for several years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, fishing and camping. Tammy also enjoyed NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon. Above all, Tammy loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Husband, Eddie Lake of Clio; Daughter, Melissa (Charles) Culver of Clio; 2 grandchildren: Kaitlynn and Bobby Vaughn; Parents, Martin and Doris Riendeau; Siblings: Susan Moore, Martin, Roland and Christian Riendeau; Sister in law, Ruth (Clifford) Wilhelm; Brothers in law: Arnold Lake, Doug (Vickie) Lake and Oramel Lake; Special friends: Rita and Wendy. Tammy was preceded in death by her brother in law, Henry Moore; Father in law, Harvey Lake and brother in law, John Lake.
