William (Bill) H. Weber, 89, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, at Hurley hospital.
Memorial service will be held at 6pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Deacon Ron Kenney officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4pm Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Born on June 5, 1937, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., he was the son of the late Henry and Thelma (Miller) Weber. In April 1967, in Flint, MI, he married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Straka at All Saints Church.
Bill proudly served our country over in Wurzburg, Germany in 1961 and was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1963.
Bill also went to Michigan State for skills trade(automotive) where he then worked for GM for 31 ½ years.
Bill also enjoyed playing fastpitch softball for many years, his highlight of his playing career was where he was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2006 for playing with Stroh’s Beer Fast Pitch Softball Team in 1968. He was a very active man, but always found time as well for family, hunting, fishing, working out, and loved watching sports.
He is survived by his sisters: Betty E. Cyr and Shirley M. Jawortson, son: Gary(Alicia)Weber, daughters : Heidi Weber and Genevieve Weber, grandchildren: Shatauna Weber, Aarieonna (Tony) Tereau, and William Weber and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Weber; brothers: Clarence (Dutch) Weber, Terry Weber, Donald Weber, and Bernard Weber; sisters: Bernice J. Bonomo, Janette F. Streeter, and Lois C. Weber.
He will be deeply missed and remembered forever in our hearts.
