Knuth, Randal R. – of Alger, age 58, died Friday, October 29, 2021, in Ogemaw County as a result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Burial will follow in Montrose Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 AM until the time of service at 2 PM.
Randy was born July 20, 1963, in Flint, Michigan to Stanley and Carole (Papineau) Knuth. He graduated from Montrose Hill – McCloy High School in 1981. He was employed by Whittemore Farms in Whittemore. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are 3 Children: Heather Meacham, Staci (Tom) Saunders, and Lynsey (David) Scurlock; Father, Stanley Knuth; 7 grandchildren: Jeffrey Layne, Brooke Saunders, Evan Layne, Aiden Layne, Thomas Saunders II, Dane Sullivan, and Hale Sullivan; Sister, Angela (Sam) Rodriguez. He also leaves behind his nieces and farm buddies. Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Carole Knuth in 1990, and his sister, Barbara.
