Annie Sybil (Harrison) Lennox passed away July 8, 2025 in her home, surrounded by love. Born April 23, 1935, Sybil was the youngest of nine kids for Dannie and Snodie Harrison. She was raised in New Bern, North Carolina where she met Jerry Lennox who was stationed at the Marine camp there. For him it was love at first sight, declaring it fate that they be married.
They spent 70 wonderful years together, joined by God's love and surrounded by family and good friends. They built their dream home on a channel off Silver Lake where they raised three children. Sybil loved to bake and the house was often filled with the smells of cinnamon rolls and oatmeal cookies. Sybil filled her days volunteering at the schools, bringing RIF into Fenton to gift kids with books. One night a month was reserved for card club where friends gathered to laugh and share stories while playing a competitive game of Double King Pedro. Sybil was very active in her church, Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian, finding ways to serve at every stage of her life.
Sybil was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Lennox, daughter Elaine Hennig, her parents, seven brothers and one sister. She is survived by son Paul Lennox, daughter-in-law Connie Lennox, daughter Jennie Lennox, grandchildren Ian Lennox, Shawn Lennox, Amanda Morningstar, Christopher Conner, Joel Conner and Bethannie Lennox, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 18, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held 9:00 AM until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be Monday, July 21 at 12:30PM in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
