HARBURN, Irving LeRoy “Bud” – of Davison, Michigan, age 84, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, Michigan, 48423; Stephen Craighead officiating. Interment in Meadowview Memorial Cemetery will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 3-7 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2026, and again on Friday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Boggy Creek in Eustice, Florida.
Irving was born in Davison Township, Michigan on November 5, 1941, son of the late Ivan Louis and Myrtle Louise (Burghdorf) Harburn. He married the love of his life, Carol Cryderman, on October 9, 1965, in Davison, Michigan, and together they shared many wonderful years until her passing on March 6, 1994. Irving dedicated 30 years of hard work and service to General Motors before his retirement. He was known for his strong work ethic, friendly spirit, and love of the outdoors. An avid softball player, Irving’s passion for the game earned him induction into the Holiday RV Village Softball Hall of Fame in Leesburg, Florida. In his younger years, he also enjoyed running and remained active throughout his life. Irving found great joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors, creating many cherished memories with family and friends along the way.
Irving is survived by his children, Dawn (Patrick) Hazard and Irving Wayne Harburn; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Harburn; and his companion, Patricia Tyler.
