GLASSTETTER, Rose I. – of Burton, MI, age 87, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Willowbrook Manor. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Rose was born in Portageville, MO on March 18, 1933, daughter of the late John and Olivia (Menz) Glasstetter. She worked for Bendle Public Schools as a custodian. Rose will be fondly remembered and missed by her family and friends. She was a fabulous “Southern Cook” who was famous for her chicken and dumplings.
Rose is survived by her siblings; Olivia Gammons, Loretta Cole, Charles Glasstetter, Robert Glasstetter, and Joseph Glasstetter; many nieces and nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 older brothers, Arthur Glasstetter and John Glasstetter.
