WESTFALL, Calvin “Cal” B. – of Flint, MI, age 79, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Alan Duce officiating. Interment 3:30 PM Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Woodland Cemetery in Port Huron, MI. The family will receive visitors 3-8 PM Tuesday, June 27, 2017 and 10-11 AM Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home.
Cal was born in Port Huron, MI on December 11, 1937, son of the late Sherman and Alpha (McClelland) Westfall. He married Janet Lee Wheatley on June 1, 1957 and she preceded him in death on May 7, 2005. Cal retired from Richfield Ironworks and Buick City General Motors. He loved gardening, tractors, cooking and classic cars.
Cal is survived by 2 daughters, Sherridee (Brad) Morey and Sherryl Caye (Ronald) Church; 6 grandchildren, Isaac Eckert, Melody (Jeff) Haggard, Crystal Eckert, Jason, Roger (Jennifer) and Benjamin (Molly) Church; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings, Nadine Wilton, Marvin (Karen) Westfall and Joyce (Tom) Hildebrant; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Shawn Patrick Church and sister, Marcia.
