LEACH, Michelle Denise - Age 57, of Grand Blanc, died Saturday, October 2, 2021. Services will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd. with a reception immediately following at Brick Street of Grand Blanc, 1223 E. Grand Blanc Rd., Grand Blanc. Pastor Brad Foster officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Disabled American Veterans.
Michelle was born June 23, 1964 in Pontiac. Michelle was first and foremost a devoted mother and wife. She climbed mountains, and was an accomplished skier. She was a 1982 graduate of Clarkston High School and didn’t let cancer stop her from completing her Bachelor's Degree in December of 2020, graduating from the University of Michigan with high honors. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She married Gregory A. Leach May 3, 1997 in Flint. Michelle was employed by Frankenmuth Insurance as a Mainframe Analyst. She had resided in Grand Blanc since 1997 coming from Clarkston/Davison.
Surviving are: her husband, Gregory; sons, Nicklas and Wyatt Leach both of Grand Blanc; mother, Evelyn and husband Jack Steinhart of Sebring, FL; brother, Andrew Carl (Kathleen) Miller of Marshall; father-in-law, and mother-in-law, Andrew K. III and Barbara Leach of Hilton Head, SC; brother-in-law, Andrew K. IV and Lindsay Leach of Napierville, IL; nieces and nephews, Alaina Miller and Isabella Miller and Allison Leach and Andrew K. Leach V; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her infant sons. "Goodbye is not forever, you're only steps away".
