Turner, Clarence Edward “Butch” - Age 78, of Flushing, passed away February 16, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 20, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Burial will follow in Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, MI 48433. Visitation will be held from 11 AM - 1 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Butch Turner Memorial Fund. Clarence was born on January 4, 1948, in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of Eugene and Florence (Strong) Turner. He owned and operated Flushing Electric as a self-employed electrical contractor for 40 years. He also worked as a private contractor for the U.S. Military in Iraq for two years. Butch enjoyed refereeing youth basketball and soccer. He was a Master Electrician and also had a passion for trains. Surviving are his wife, Karen Turner; three sons, Mark (Audra) Turner of Spaulding Township, Jonathan Turner of Flint, and Jason Turner of Flushing; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Terry; and brother, Curtis Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Florence Turner, and his brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Bev Turner.
